She says that every woman goes to her husband’s house from her mother’s house after marriage to live with the husband. There is a concept that such women do not become the members of her husband’s family until they have born a child. It is told that a girl is lucky who parents alive. She goes to her mother’s house for the last month of her pregnancy and about the first three months of the baby’s life.
When a child is of seven days old, the naming ceremony is held. A new dress is brought for child and also a new sari is brought for the mother.
